All American Apple Slices

SweatTheStyle_AmericanAppleSlices_1A vegan gluten free version of an All American Apple Pie a la mode.
Ingredients:
Apples: 8 Cored and chopped
Cinnamon: 1 Tbsp
Lemon: 1/2 Juiced
Honey: 2 Tbsp

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Toss the chopped apples with the cinnamon, lemon juice, and honey and place in an oven proof dish. Bake apples, stirring occasionally, for around 30 minutes until soft and juicy. Serve for dessert with coconut ice cream and garnish with walnuts.

Refreshing Rosemary Watermelon Water

Seedless Watermelon: 1 Small
Rosemary: 4 Fresh Sprigs
Lemon: 3 Slices
Honey: 1 Tbsp
Ice: 1 Cup
Filtered Water: 4 Cups

SweatTheStyle_WatermelonWater2 Instructions:
Chop watermelon into cubes. Crush a quarter of the watermelon cubes in a measuring cup until it’s watery and slushy, pour juice through a strainer into a water pitcher. Add ice, lemon slices, honey, rosemary, and the rest of the watermelon cubes. Let sit for a few hours, stir, and serve. The longer it sits the stronger the flavour.

We both started modelling at the same time in Toronto and I was really excited to catch up over a sweat when I heard she was in LA for a campaign. Lina who is originally from Russia spiced up her vintage Nike Windbreaker from The Locker Room with a braided headband and a pair of Sweat It Leggings. Gorgeous Lina makes it a priority to stay active, happy, and healthy, and always looks good doing it.

Who do you SWEAT?
I like to try new and different things. For now I mix mostly between VS, Nike and Lululemon.
What do you SWEAT?
Tiny little monsters called calories. Burn’em all! Haha!

Dance studios, volleyball courts, baseball diamonds and nature trails.

With a lot of encouragement, passion and focus while always looking forward to new exciting things in my life.
Why do you SWEAT?
I do it for my health but I also enjoy it all. I love dancing, feeling good playing sports, and I get to dream and make exciting plans during those long runs outside.

Cali Pink Salad

Pink Grapefruit: 2, Large
Pink Himalayan Salt: 1 1/2 Tsp
Dijon Mustard: 1 Tbsp
Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice: 1/4 Cup
Freshly Ground Pepper: To Taste
Extra Virgin Olive Oil: 1/2 Cup
Avocado: 4, Ripe
Roasted Sunflower Seeds: A Sprinkle

Instructions:

Place the mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Slowly whisk in the olive oil until the mixture thickens into a vinaigrette.
Cut the avocados in half, remove the seeds, and carefully peel off the skin. Cut each half into 4 thick slices. Toss the avocado slices in the vinaigrette to prevent them from turning brown.
Cut the top and bottom off of the grapefruit, just enough to expose the flesh. Begin slicing off the peel, cutting from top to bottom, following the curve of the fruit until the whole peel is gone. Try to remove all of the white skin without sacrificing too much of the flesh of the fruit. Then release the grapefruit segments with a knife. Arrange the avocado slices around the edge of a large platter with the grapefruit segments in the center. Spoon the vinaigrette on top, sprinkle with salt, pepper, and sunflower seeds and serve.

PEACH TOMATO BURRATA STSF 21
Ingredients:
Raw Honey: 1 Tbsp
Sea Salt: To Taste
Peach: 1 Sliced
Lemon: 1 Juiced
Basil: A Bunch Chopped
Buratta: Whole
Olive Oil: To Taste
Heirloom Tomatoes: 3 Sliced

Instructions:
To make dressing whisk lemon juice with honey and olive oil.
Arrange tomatoes, peaches, and basil on a plate.
Place buratta on top.
Drizzle honey-lemon mixture over everything.
Sprinkle with sea salt.

It’s pretty easy!
